Mission Statement
The International Ibuprofen Foundation (IIF) serves as a centralized resource for the latest technical and medical data on the use of ibuprofen as a safe, effective and well-tolerated analgesic for general use. The IIF also looks to promote new research that will contribute to ibuprofen’s continued acceptance as a product available directly to the public. The IIF is committed to providing objective, balanced information on ibuprofen in a positive and comprehensive manner and does not provide negative commentary on other analgesic ingredients and products. To ensure an unbiased perspective, the IIF works with a multi-disciplinary group of thought leaders that reviews data, provides objective comment, and serves as an educational resource to the scientific community. In addition, the IIF works closely with patient groups in all areas of health and patient welfare.

The member companies of the IIF contribute to the annual costs of its management and in turn receive advice and assistance from the IIF over media enquires, technical information support and access to reliable and accurate medical opinion at both the technical and commercial level.
